The Art of Wise Living Self-Care Retreat (for Women only)

Tuesday- Sunday, October 13-18, 2015 | Harper’s Ferry area, West Virginia

Rejuvenate while you learn the principles of supportive self-care from the Ayurvedic, yogic and contemplative traditions.

Enjoy nature hikes, swimming in the creek, writing in your journal or relaxing in the beautiful outdoors mid-day and evening contemplative playtime.

Create, learn about and eat organic, Ayurvedic meals with a small group of other women, equally interested in self-care and mindful community.

This retreat is open to all dedicated yoga practitioners interested in learning the arts of Ayurvedic nourishment, yogic well-being and intuitive wisdom for self-care.

The Art of Wise Living will teach you to the skills for making your life, your yoga (and to share those skills with others: in your homes, communities and studios).

The most enjoyable component of training with the Wisdom Method was the Ayurvedic retreat. Beautiful setting. Great experiences with food, essential oils, practice, and learnings about Ayurveda.

I was drawn to the Wisdom Method program because of my desire to use yoga as medicine in my own life and then be able to share with others. I was totally unprepared for the fact my expectations would be exceeded! The information was organized and presented in an articulate, digestible manner. I also found Kellie’s teaching style so lovely and relatable.

After attending training with Kellie, I have been able to find more balance in my personal practice. I was primarily a vinyasa teacher and now I have been able to cultivate a stillness practice of my own. In finding this side, I have been able to share the practice more authentically with my students and I have been able to connect with myself and others on a much deeper and insightful level. I feel more aware and at peace than I have ever felt in my entire life and I look forward to sharing this with those who cross my path on the mat.
